How can Al-Anon help me

Al-Anon members give and receive comfort and understanding through a mutual exchange of experiences, strength and hope.  The sharing of similar problems binds individuals and groups together in a bond that is protected by anonymity.

We practice the Twelve Steps (the same steps as Alcoholics Anonymous), which help us to understand the alcoholic(s) in our lives as well as ourselves. We welcome and give comfort to families and friends of alcoholics.Al-Anon is neither a religious organisation, nor or a counselling service. It is not a treatment centre and it is not allied with any other organisation offering such services.  Your anonymity is protected at all times.

All meetings are conducted in English.
